Standard Features

  • Music Awaiting Chair - Participants listen to music until a moderator joins the conference.
  • Direct Entry - Dial a phone number, join the conference.  No access code required.
  • Conference Entry Code - Participants must have access code to join the conference.
  • Pin Code - For additional security, participants may be assigned individual personal identification numbers that must be accompanied with the conference entry code.
  • Security - By pressing *7 the speaker locks the conference and prevents anyone from entering.
  • Entry Tones - A tone will alert the group that someone has entered the conference (activated upon your request).
  • Entry Announcements - A person's name is automatically announced as they join the conference (activated upon your request).
  • Roster Playback - During the conference a moderator can play the recorded names of the participants (only available if entry announcements are activated).
  • Exit Announcements - The group may hear tones or system message if someone leaves the conference (activated upon your request).
  • Fax/Email Confirmations - For every call scheduled, a confirmation will be faxed for review.
  • Lecture - A moderator may press *5 to toggle conference from lecture to interactive and vice versa.
  • Individual Mute - Any listener may mute their line by pressing *6 (toggle feature)
  • Gain - An individual person can increase the volume on their line.
  • Reports - Detailed call reports with originating telephone numbers are available for 800 conference services.  Participant count is available by fax or email for toll unattended toll calls.
  • Help - By pressing *0 a participant or moderator can summon the operator for assistance.
  • Unattended - No operator assistance is needed, but one is always monitoring calls.
  • Account Groups - Provide multiple codes/accounts for departments for easy billing.
  • Conference Disconnect Features - Available 5 minute warning or unlimited time length upon request.

Enhanced Features—Operator Assisted Calls

  • Attended - A conference operator, per your request, is there to tend to special needs. i.e.: live operator introduction, sub conferences, etc.
  • Pre-conference - A scheduled conference for the moderators prior to the main conference. This gives the speakers privacy and time to organize thoughts.  When it is time to begin the main conference, the operator will join the pre and the main conference together and give a formal moderator introduction.
  • Screening/Security - Each caller is checked against the list provided by your company before placed into the conference.
  • Roster - Operators take names and phone numbers of each caller and provide you with the list.
  • Questions & Answers (Q&A)
    •   Operators take names of the participants.  

    •   Moderators give their presentation, then open the call up for questions and answers.  

    •   Operator formally announces instructions.  

    •   Participants signal by pressing "1" on their touchtone keypad that they have a question.  

    •   Operator announces the name of the next person to state their question.

    •   At closure of the Q &A, the operator announces "That now concludes our question & answer session.

  • Polling - Fully operator assisted. Your question list or survey will be preprogrammed with corresponding numbers on the touch-tone keypad. A report shows the number of voters on each question as well as the percentage response.
  • Recording - The conference call may be digitally recorded for playback, rebroadcast, tape, DAT, mini disc, or emailing of file in various formats. 
  • Editing - Recordings can be edited by deleting segments, or adding in.
  • Live Introduction - The conference operator will announce the start of the call and introduce the key moderator.
  • IVR Scheduling - You can schedule conferences by using your touch-tone phone & perform many conference management functions.
